+Webpage_Information:
This webpage particularly uses Cascading Style Sheet to make visual display of text. Here is the .css file.
Also note that there is no more use of the 'pre' syntax because of its inability to adjust to window size and zoom-in changes.
Go ahead and zoom-in; you'll see that the context fits with the page dimension. I used the paragraph to help me on this zoom-in adaptation.

Seriously, Freedoom sucks my nuts. It is basically a more shittier doom alternative with only a much harder in your face map placement including teleport ambush traps. Not monsters combo friendly. Weapons/items combo friendly.

+List_of_Doom_Mod_Servers:
Just Doom mod servers in general.
Don't know what else to say, lol.

Internet Archive nonprofit public digital library
Access to Internet Archive downloads/mirrors (of files [webpages, texts, videos, audios, tvs, softwares, images, concerts, and collections]), account menu (if any account registered), upload, search, about/information, contact, blog, projects, help, donation, terms of service, jobs, volunteer, people/staff, announcements, and advanced search.
This is the exalted king of archives, the big one.
Internet Archive is a library/database of of all kinds of media drifting throughtout the internet for eons to come. As any library, its assets are available to the open public. Your very limitations is by your narrow search (and possibility the lack of uploads of the published material). For me, this site is the bedrock for my very projects. I tried several file hosts, and each failed in utter patheticness and apathy. It's either there's a stiff upgrade requirement or arbituary authorities disproving of my file submissions. I mean, where's the spirit of the internet, where information or media are exchanged (by electronic means) over communication? This is the point in the rights of freedom, where things can be shared or kept freely. Instead, we have encroaching shadows that threaten to infringe upon our liberties, our rights, and our very lives.
That being said, the services offered is very open-ended, but there is a possibility of item removal for some reason. So far, this server has been the most free and also the most expressive, that which allows the description of the item. The protocol of uploading items is quite difficult and I will provide detailed instructions in how to prepare uploads for proper publication as best as I can.

/idgames Archive database
Access to /idgames downloads/mirrors, contact, /newstuff, /incoming, /rejects, upload instructions, search, top rated, random file, information, and .txt generator.
Most of these files are usually official/final releases with text documentation. I usually browse here due to a high chance of vanilla/classic style maps that can work with my mods. However, due to recent crackdowns by the whimsical so-called authorities of freedom, certain devices, methodologies, or identitities were not allowed free rein of access. I suggest to use a proxy to get the page/file access. I don't want to make a mention since I have already burned up these dudes (not sure if from this site) like hell. There was a whole mess of admin crackdowns on various communities. Did I miss something? Lol.

The Ultimate Doom mod server Are you running Windows 95? Upload function currently undesirable.
Access to The Ultimate Doom hosted Odamex/Zandronum servers, iwad validator (required file check before multiplayer game session), upload instructions (50mb limit), most recent wads, downloads, frag records, and contact.
This server holds WIP (work in progress [in development]) projects with "v#.#" on the end of the filename. Just like DogSoft. They come in the flavours of maps, scripts, music, player classes, weapons, items, monsters, etc. However, this website lacks a search function and (public) rejects list. We wouldn't know what files are rejected, but there is a link showing the entire list of mods, making the search function a bit unneeded. That is true until we are facing a huge lag in loading or a numerous amount of wad list pages. Some organization can help, but search can hit that special purpose. I would like to say that this server is a library to WIP works, but the file size limit hinders that capability. However, this is quite a mod server, despite its limitations. There was actually a WIP mod server called "http://www.best-ever.org/". It was the server to hold mods in development, but also had new files report, search function, rejects report, and so on. It was quite perfect in its purpose, but somehow, the host decided to close it down. Nevetheless, there be WIP mod servers with the archival sustainability. The Ultimate Doom happens to be one of those servers. .wad and .zip file formats only, in which .wad and outside file formats will be compressed into a .zip file format. However, when uploading a .zip, it says, "Only WAD's or PK3's can be uploaded. Your file is 'ZIP'". Bogus rule, but at least a zipper compressor.

Doomshack mod server Doomshack file uploader page
Access to Doomshack downloads, upload instructions, and recent uploads.
This server holds WIP (work in progress [in development]) projects with "v#.#" on the end of the filename. This is where the real juicy mods are. They come in the flavours of maps, scripts, music, player classes, weapons, items, monsters, etc. Essentially, this is another file server and that's all I have to say in the download aspect. However, what this website lacks in new up-to-date projects (usually holds old stuff, not many seem to use this service), compensates in open arms of open-ended submissions. God damn if I have to go through the screening procedures for my projects. You can start uploading from the get go. So far, there does not seem to be a size limit. There is a problem for upload file replacement though; you need to write down version numbers, if you're into that kind of thing. If you want to gripe about upload/download speed, hey, this server holds a lot of files and transfers. Be glad that the connection stays stable long enough in order to finish file transfer. There is also a recent uploads list in case anyone wants to know the new files. The only fucking gripe about this bitch is that you cannot access the entirety of the website with any internet settings. You have to comply to restricted settings. Plus, it wouldn't host some of my files for political reasons (probably due to fear of reprisal). What a bitch, huh? Somewhere in the website index page, you can find both irc information (contact is thedevilzworker@hotmail.com [no page mentions the email address other than a former linked page]). I would write them down here, but spider linking. It shouldn't be hard to look. File types accepted: .wad .lmp .odd .cld .zip .pk3 .7z .pk7,.txt .cfg .log

Doom Wad Station backup of the /idgames Archive database Doom Wad Station file upload instructions page
Access to Doom Wad Station backup of /idgames downloads, upload instructions, contact, and donation.
Most of these files should be official/final releases with text documentation. I don't really browse here because it is more of a site owner's personal backup than a public library. Here, I can find a arbituary will to synchronize archival updates with /idgames's changes, or just files to be manually uploaded to this server. I consider this the server to go to for specified files. This is the case for files that was taken off the more mainstream /idgames archives, but chanced to be hosted elsewhere. The navigation interface of the database is quite a list of lists, it came from the 90s. I (usually) like the pages of the 90s, but enough about that. When skimming through the directories, some of the file names don't make sense. It seems that there are two different versions of the same category. I, on the other hand, know that identification could be tricky, hence the directory duplication. There are non-Doom titles too, but like I said, personal backup. I personally say that the interface looks crappy, but it's simple and effective enough for me. The download service? Oh man, you talking about the 90s, once again. When you finally got a file to download, the service takes a while due to the rate, but that's not the bad news. The bad news is that the download can taper off to a pause. You have to be eyeballin' the transfer rate meter for any stop in activity. At least you can resume download as long connection remains stable. Maybe it's the quality of service, but if it works, it works. Consider it a acceptable standard. I had downloads that suddenly forget client connections, I would have to download from the very start again. It must be my internet browser, but I am talking about down to the roots compatibility. For uploads, like I said, arbituary will and impulses. I tried uploading and was turned down. Pretty shitty if you ask me, but it's shitty file transfer quality anyways. Still works for downloads though. there is a need to review any file before it becomes accessible from the server. To do that, you need to read up on the Doom Wad Station file upload instructions page. Yeah, there's no reference link for the two pages. That's some bad navigation interface right there. Plus, the bad 90s look. It looks like shit. At least it looks better than mines. Ah, the 90s.

DogSoft mod server Search function currently unusable.
Access to DogSoft search, rejects, upload instructions, online activities (displays national location, download software, and site activity of users), top downloads, contact, and donation.
This server holds WIP (work in progress [in development]) projects with "v#.#" on the end of the filename. This is where the real juicy mods are. They come in the flavours of maps, scripts, music, player classes, weapons, items, monsters, etc. However, this website lacks /newstuff and /incoming sections in the upload page. There's a /reject section and online activity, but these statistics only show what is not being accepted (although the feedback would be useful to uploaders) and what users are doing at the site. If you wanted to know what are the new files, you would have to look by yourself and type keywords in the search function. We are talking about new projects that truly encompasses the new standard of doom modding. I read that this server is intended for archiving old files. However, its capability to provide new files a new home in publication, distribution, and access, should be enough of an incentive to introduce /newstuff and /incoming sections. DogSoft happened to be one of those servers. I'll let the hosts know of my request and hopefully, it will be fulfilled.
Oh yeah, this server prohibits leaching or public linking of hosted files. What a bitch! Also, both upload and search function stopped working. Shit hits the bucket for this one. Adios, muchachos. Use this server to only get updated files. The mods listed on this currently read page should have stable hosting server access link.

Remember, what you accessed is by your own risk.
I will hold no responsibility in damages done by the access of any medium within this section.
Example would be a block to doomworld.com/idgames links due to restriction on certain devices, methodologies, or identitities. I suggest using a proxy to access pages/files.
However, if you want to forward a suggestion without changing any of the possible degree of damage, you are welcome to try (

My first mapping experiments; might utilize map00's ExitNormal script and MAPINFO's NoIntermission and Cluster properties of introduction intermission text from thewreck.zip
I am certain there are even more customizable changes for this type of introduction text
I have managed to create an introduction slideshow, slideshow between maps, and even multiple slideshows to be activated from a map during a game session
Slideshows in this fashion are not revolutionary, but I have yet seen an example other than my own
Hopefully, I can find other mapping (and maybe even scripting to editng) innovations to add to this project, where I have a reference ready at hand

+List_of_Other_ZDoom_Mods_Made_by_Other_People:
pkmn7.zip
Pokemon Doom v7 mod by jcdizon (site is now down and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). Multiple maps about that darn Pokemon rpg game for GameBoy hand-held console. Less pokemon sprites, some maps not developed well or at all. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
pkmnv9r.zip
Pokemon Doom v9 mod by jcdizon (site is now down and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). Multiple maps about that darn Pokemon rpg game for GameBoy hand-held console. More pokemon sprites, full-like total conversion. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
pkmnv12.zip
Pokemon Doom v12 mod by jcdizon (site is now down and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). Multiple maps about that darn Pokemon rpg game for GameBoy hand-held console. More pokemon sprites, but not enough. Maps like total conversion, but not enough to emulate the pokemon backtrack like Hexen's hub. More pokemon monster behavior adjusted to the doom environment so get dodging and get shooting. Probably needs a bit of script to get things a bit interesting. Pokemon can be a hassle if you collecting for too fucking long! No more dark pokemon story or whatevers. Probably stupid anyways? Would like to join a team rocket misadventure story though. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
TouhouDoom.pk3 TouhouDoom.pk3 TouhouDoom.pk3 NSFW
Touhou Doom - Hell On Gensokyo vfinal mod by Siro (link leads to sitemap of available versions). Multiple maps turned touhou conversion in projectile spam. Some too hard bosses shit, it sucks, lol. People from the communities seems to kept forgetting about this project so I decided to prop it up for archive purposes. Not the best mod of all time, but it's unique enough with all that projectile behavior. Contains bugs that may crash too! Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly, or not well advised unless modification is complete.
mihoshiv2.zip NSFW
Mihoshi Doom v2 mod by Washu1998 (site is now down [was a geocities site] and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]).
Wacky maps, but fun for a 90s mod, lol. Also, this guy's email address is still around! Go ahead and email him if you want (washu1998@aol.com). The trashed websites were "http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Quadrant/4990/mihoshiv2.zip" and "http://littlewashuchan.tripod.com/mihodoom_frame.html". Those sites are now gone, but it was the 90s, girlfriend!!! Might try to get an archive going on. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.

stormer_doom.zip StormerDoom.wad NSFW
Stormer Doom mod by StormerDoom (download publication is now down [due to speech restrictions] and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). Political themed maps based on academics. An open perspective on conflict of interests. Multiple maps into a total conversion. Has an Invasion of Normandy map style! Strange, yet interesting sense of context; actually good gameplay. Primary mirror contains an optional Brutal Doom mod (note that there could be download time outs). This is for the archives. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
zbludv41.zip zbludv51.zip NSFW
ZBlooD mod by Joseph Otey (Doorhenge) and J S Graham (Psyren) (download publication is now down [due to reasons unknown] and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). This is Blood3D in how it can be rendered by the Doom engine. So far, I have to say that it's quite good, almost like the real Blood3D game. Great maps and theme. Combo friendly. Doom-like gameplay too. If you want the real total conversion treat, try v51. It is satisfying Blood3D, but does have some rare (monster) errors. I didn't really like some features like the voxels (can be optional), weapons order setup (some weapons are in the freakin' way), flare pistol preventing item drops from monsters, and some stupid customized monster chase behavior by the change of velocities than monster movement. However, I decided to post the link up for reference in my upcoming mods from Blood3D resources. I hope that the file also contains material from both the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage expansions (new monsters, sprites, and audio). Monsters combo friendly, but the actor placement might make gameplay difficult. LIKE! Weapons/items combo friendly.
circus666.zip
Happy Time Circus mod by Shitbag. Horror themed map (yes, just one) based on clowns, the movie "IT", and some circus stuff. Prepare to shit your pants down. I was scared and you may be too. If I play it again, I think there's still a sense of panic regardless of experience. Can't say for replacing monsters in a circus map. Weapons/items combo friendly though. I don't like the gameplay design, but it has a nice enough map design to earn some merit.
fistful3.zip NSFW
A FISTFUL OF DOOM mod by AWARE (aka Azeraaron) and SOUTEC. Wild west themed maps based on outlaws, lawmen, and some "A Fistful of Dollars" movie references. Prepare to aim sharp in this showdown! It's kill to be killed in this gun blazin' arena of ghost towns! Intense gun fighting, thematic atmosphere! Damn of a blast from the past! Monsters combo is always a welcome, if not hard shit bricks challenge. LIKE! Weapons/items combo friendly.
njma01.zip
Enjay's Marine Assault mod by Nigel Rowand (Enjay). Rambo themed map based on the Nazi experiments reference. At the breach, infilitrate and plant C4s on the anti-air artilleries! Stop rogue scientists in their experiments upon unwilling subjects! Take down the gun for hires seeking to stop your mission of freedom! Monsters combo not possible. LIKE! Weapons/items combo friendly.
kaiser_6.zip NSFW
The Community is falling!! Oh No!!! mod by Samuel "Kaiser" Villarreal. Joke themed map based on Newdoom.com, Doomworld, Quake3World.com, and hacking. You're the hacker with a job to dismantle for the lulz! Monsters combo not possible. Weapons/items combo friendly.
kaiser_17.zip NSFW
The Community is Falling 2 mod by anonymous also known as Kaiser. Joke themed map based on Doomworld, planetdoom.com, Half Life 2, and hacking. You're the hacker with a job to dismantle for the lulz! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
citywars.wad citywars.zip
City Wars mod by Daniel. Urban themed map based on doom monster grouped into different sections as gang territory. You are a single elite soldier, the only survivor after a failed attack on a city occupied by demons. You must retake the city from the monsters. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
gangsta.zip gangsta_grosse.zip
Gangsta Grosse mod by doomx. Urban themed monster based on gangstas and Wolfenstein3D. Face off against Gangsta Grosse and the doom monsters. Do you have what it takes to be gangsta? I test this mod as a custom monster crowd test for lag and group behavior observation. LIKE (from modifier's point of view)! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
doom3057.zip
DOOM 3057 - Second Edition 5/9/00 mod by X-BLADE, KRIMZN, and Fredrik Johansson. Titlepic done by MasterDraw, Fizzter, and X-BLADE. Science fiction themed map based on some space station, stealth monsters, teleport portals, map scripting, and story-based time travel. I call this the RTC-3057 alpha, but more doom-like (it sucks). I probably will include RTC-3057, but as an edit that fixes gameplay. Not my favorite, but it's a good nostalgia and interesting piece of mod development before RTC-3057. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
zombies.zip NSFW
ZOMBIES mod by T.C.H.G.. Horror themed maps based on George A. Romero's great movies "Dawn of the Dead" & "Day of the Dead", known to as "ZOMBIE 1 & 2". One of my favorite mods to play. Custom map textures making a great thematic appearance. Excellent map design adding to gameplay value. Sounds are excellent, so are the sprites. However, I don't care much about the zombies or whether they are not acting like slow lurching zombies. The monster placement is good enough for me. LIKE! Monsters combo friendly, but if the custom monsters are a bit too hard, get ready for some real zombie action (I believe you can still win, but it's gonna cost you some gusto)! Weapons/items combo friendly.
trinity2.zip NSFW
The Unholy Trinity mod by Steve McCrea, Simon Wall, & Elias Papavassilopoulos. Modern themed map based on Trinity College, Cambridge. One of my favorite mods to play. Photographed map textures provides that sense of realism. Map design is in the architecture, where you can see it. Can't say about the gameplay value, but fun enough though. It's a cool map, but sometimes, you want to get a gripe on the function of the institution! Just kidding, I respect this level of prestige, I mean, it's a lot of money and effort. LIKE! Monsters combo friendly, but the open areas can turn into a shootout. Weapons/items combo friendly.
mtfactor.zip
A Hidden Mountain Factory mod by Grzegorz Werner. All original resources used. Map entails of transversing into a factory within a rocky mountain. I like how I am in the rocky or cliffy start. There's some tight enclosures and a few open areas. There are some clear traps that are designed to give you a tough time, which is something I like (no clear traps in tight areas). Hardly no sniping involved. A bit of twists and turns in saving space for the factory. Securing the factory is the goal here. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
mordeth.zip
Mordeth - FEB'97 version mod by Gaston Lahaut. All original resources used. I like this a lot, too bad it's incomplete. Map entails of transversing into lots of brown places like libraries and wood. Expert map design, if you want to map, you would go for this (but not too far or lest you lose out on your low-end fans). Tight corridors and open areas, both inside, and outside. Monsters are around almost any corner. It's Doom, you know what to do. I like this map, simple and fun. Monsters combo friendly, but I think it will get wild in the pursuit and ambushes (hehehe). Weapons/items combo friendly.
teitenga.zip
Assault on Tei Tenga mod by Sam Ketner. All original resources used, with some being custom akin to Half-Life game title and X-Files television series references. This is considered the first complete total conversion in doom modding history. It got a hub connecting maps together (no intermission screen, so it flows like a story), text stuff for story, some scenes made by ACS, scroll floors, projectile traps serving as artillery or mortar, and probably lots of other neat things that could make this mod its own game. The pace is slow at times, but don't sleep on it, lest you get ambushed very quickly. When you do get into the combat, you will find out that very healthy monsters are already at you so fight like a pro. You are supposed to be an officer investigating a mysterious event at a orbiting station over a strange new planet. What awaits our hero? One can only press on to know. The conversion got a lot of story with some scripting bling, but I somehow don't like it; maybe, it's too much story and too less action. However, it's interesting enough as the first total conversion. Hell, I might learn something from these maps! Monsters combo friendly (hopefully it will not break the game)/weapons/items combo friendly.
darkhour.zip
The Darkest Hour mod by ReX claussen. Science fiction themed maps based on the Star Wars movie series references. The ultimate total conversion in terms of a Star Wars story. No rebels, just being a mercenary with some errands. It got its own cutscenes. Map design is wonderfully excellent, if not boring. Great for Star Wars fan. Not monsters combo friendly. Weapons/items combo friendly.
massm2.zip
MassMouth 2 mod by Cyb. Science fiction themed maps based on various media references. A total conversion with its own story about an alien mercenary named MassMouth. It got its own cutscenes, ACS scripts, sprites, music, audio, and map design. Funny mod to play at times. Nice example of what a somewhat custom total conversion, but it's only one example though. Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
biowar.zip
Operation BIOWAR mod by Chris Harbin, Paul Corfiatis, and John Bishop. All original resources used. A megawad about stopping a UAC turned evil. Map design looks alright. At least the final boss map looks easy enough. I really like how that mouth opens. Interesting mapping technique. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.

Doomworld Forums 3 mod by Anonymous. Joke themed map based on NewDooM and hacking. You're the noob with a strive to rule NewDooM! Has Max Payne narration (funny), but final boss fight is more like timed survival against the Icon of Sin (boring). Possibly NSFW. Not monsters combo friendly. Weapons/items combo friendly.
campe.zip
CAMPE.ZIP mod by CARONE (Carsten Kraemer). Modern themed map based on Campe-Gymnasium, Holzminden. One of my favorite mods to play. Drawn map textures provides that sense of cartoonism. Sounds made it even more cartoonish. Map design is in the architecture, but I can't see it. Can't say about the gameplay value, but fun enough though. It's a cool map, but sometimes, you want to get a gripe on the function of the institution! Just kidding, I respect this level of mandatory education, I mean, it's worth something. Monsters combo friendly, but the open areas can turn into a shootout (lots of windows). Weapons/items combo friendly.

bennyh.zip NSFW
Benny Hill mod by Bill Henny. All original resources used, with some custom edits. A Benny Hills skit, based on one showing a chase of beautiful sexy police women in bras and panties by funny thugs. The original is damn jacking (that's Benny Hills [but not all the time]), but also old, campy, and meant to be more funny than a company. However, if you want some, that impse chick got all the sprite frames down... Just kidding, there's better stuff than that. Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.

aoddoom2.zip
Army of Darkness DOOM 2 Total Conversion mod by Stefan Maes. Modern/medieval themed maps based on the Army of Darkness movie references. This is the ultimate game (at least for Doom) of the funny movie "Army of Darkness". While it ain't as funny as the movie, it sure pokes fun with a lots of references and a lots of action. Hard! However, this one has bugs, especially for the first level, just explore, collect items, and exit. Forget about getting that necklace in the outside shed. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
schoold2.zip NSFW, but only because of one of Pablo Picasso's paintings
SCHOOL DOOM II mod by The Pupils Of The Cyberdemon (Gotara, Gigademon, Faidros, Jelly, and Ostrowsky [plus thanks to Mr. Hill for letting Ostrowsky and Faidros use his MIDI hardware, all the Doom editor programmers, ID software, Matt Groenig (School REALLY is hell!), Robert M. Pirsig, and teachers]). Modern themed maps based on J-Norssi, Joensuu. This was made way before the Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold incident. Those dudes were just jealous, they can't even compare to the mastery of this project! Although the map design is not realistic, its simplicity and tact allows gameplay to flow easily. Alright, alright, it was a ambitionious project dating back to the 90s. There are map errors that prevent the game to resume. I was stuck on map05, difficult teleport ambushes too. Different environment per map. It might be even more fun than trinity2.zip, The Unholy Trinity, despite the lack of relevant context. I had fun with this, well, at least for map01. Maps can hit or miss based on the matter of quality. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.

Bastards mod by CeeJay. Historical themed maps based on A FISTFUL OF DOOM mod, Outlaws title, Heretic title, and one ww39b manga (NSFW, lol) references. Better than fistful3.zip? Well, definitely more stuff and maps. It's more campy than the "A Fistful of Dollars" movie themed mod; that means it's a bit more colorful, with jarring graphics colliding. It is even more blatant in its NSFW material. We are talking about actors, not paintings on textures (although it got some pretty adulaterated things [not always paintings] on its own textures). Obvious display is at the brothel sector area in map02 (I am still trying to find image ww39b in the maps! Maybe it's a unadded joke image?). If you are talking action, plenty with good map design, but it is not in the pumped up spirit as in fistful3.zip, which can be really devastating, but that's what the Wild West is all about. LIKE! ShadowWarriorBackup.pk3 ShadowWarriorBackup.pk3 ShadowWarriorBackup_.pk3 NSFW
Shadow Warrior (Total Conversion) mod by Lex Safonov. Modern themed weapons and monsters based on Shadow Warrior title references. Not a real total conversion as there are no maps set in place. Although I cannot say I like the weapons, they are quite unique in their own way. That alone earn some merit enough to be on this page. The monsters, I don't care for them as I commented out its DECORATE #include directive. Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly, but can change should one know the right modifications.
HUDv2.wad HUDv2.wad HUDv2.wad
Small HUD add-on with radar v2.0 mod by Endless123. All original resources used, plus some various/custom media references. Radar item to scan different actors. There are said to be different scan modes. Can scan for custom actors, but needs to be defined, and therefore, be its own actor-dependent radar item (needs to go with monsters, projectiles, and items as one mod). Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly, but possible should there be any modification (I suggest to stick the radar item with the monster combo since it relies on actor definition, and it would be most useful in that way).
rylayeh.zip
RYLAYEH mod by J S Graham. All original resources used, with some custom edits. There are some resources, but is very little. Maybe something like Heretic and Blood3D. The theme of the maps are supposed to be Lovecraftian horror, from the Lost City of R'Lyeh. There's no real media resources/references that would be Lovecraftian. I like this kind of theme, it's horror and cool. Other than that map design is hairy as Lovecraft's literature. Prepare to feel the terror from the depths! LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
doomcity.zip
Doom City mod by Shams Young. All original resources used, with some custom edits. A city displays a little city/town like in a Wolfenstein3D map layout. It's simple, but all interactive. All monsters come at you, combat on all sides, the fight for your life. No sky scrapers like citywars.wad and rnrrrasc.zip (more decorative than doomcity.zip though). No linear path instances or dumb windows walls like CARSON_CITY.wad. If there is a simple map that I would like to make, it would be like this one. Open-ended environment. Music rocks hard. This simply is the most favorite of all urban-based maps. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
gsc_rr14.zip NSFW
Gunsmith Cats: Russian Roulette v1.4 mod by Mouse, a.k.a. LilWhiteMouse, a.k.a. LWM. All original resources used, with some custom edits. A map featuring a theme from Gunsmith Cats manga references. The map layout is like a basic Grand Theft Auto city (mostly lines and sectors), but no lag! You star as the young babe Irene "Rally" Vincent, who must rescue Becky Farrah from Natasha Radinov. No kawaii *looks at America*, crime-fighting babes you are! There are monster spawners for this mod. Kill to gain, but item drops only reward sharp senses and stealthy stealth. Very hard, especially if you are going to clear out the whole area. Prepare to rpg style, going back to certain routes for health. Hospitable is absolutely useless save for the medikit on the 2nd floor. Shooting windows might give you away. Monster sprites are not impressive, but the textures are. Map design might be something to learn from. Am also interested in the monster spawner concept as a possible implementation to a rpg-style game, just like gsc_rr14.zip. Not really my cup of tea, if I want to go anime, I pick otakondm.zip (not n_mariko.zip, that's just some map with textures of over-the-top celebritism; not mihoshiv2.zip either, that's just maps). However, this is a really good example of a rpg-style romp/demo. That, is what makes it a part of this page. Not monsters combo friendly. Weapons/items combo friendly.
bauhaus.zip
B/\|_||-|/\|_|S mod by Didy. All original resources used, with some custom edits. Four medium sized maps in the style of Bauhaus-art. That means modernist/cubism-based maps. It be one hell of aesthetical design. Truely freaky modern stuff, but with Doom. It's no stupid museum place, it's hell with freaky colors and shapes. All freaky-like. I admit that I don't really like this type of map design because I don't see myself making maps like that. However, there's a lot of work put into this, but the work itself does produce a design that is called art, especially as unique architecture, if too socialist or communist. Basically all that sci-fi futuro crap, making a statement that is too far beyond human nature. Monsters (but it may be too hard without ally items [still fair game])/weapons/items combo friendly.
007ltsd.zip
007: Licence to Spell DooM mod by Stephen Clark (The Ultimate DooMer!). All original resources used, with some custom edits. Nine maps filled with James Bond, 007 intro, outro, and other stuff (the story stuff is what I like [a bit outside the intermission text, but it works well for me despite the need for actor/line dialogue?]). There are some tricks with floor death damage, in which you need to be careful. However, if you can handle the secret agent gaming requirement, it's hell fun. You play as an operative seeking to stop a nuclear threat over several cities. You might also need to bypass some just in time events. Puzzles stump me on e4m3. It was a nice theme, but I give up. Nevertheless, interesting and nice try. Not monsters combo friendly. Weapons/items combo friendly.
Piranha Gun.WAD Piranha Gun.WAD Piranha Gun.WAD
Jetpacked Piranha Cannon mod by ReedtheStrange. All original resources used, with some custom edits. Interesting weapon combo that launches a dumb piranha projectile. When projectile hits a (bleeding, maybe) target, it becomes a seeker to rip around its given target until it is dead. After, it resumes its current dumb path. Actually, I already got a seeker missile (called "CacodemonBall_Projectile_Flame_MONSTERONLY") that works nearly the same way in dumb_doom2_monsterplayersv47.wad. Piranha Gun.WAD is not much of a project, but it's a interesting projectile nevertheless. Okay, maybe not so interesting, but it's nice to see a different variation from what I had to mind. Monsters/weapns/items combo friendly.
mdoomfix.zip
Marine mod by Chaosvolt. All original resources used, with some custom edits. A rare map for military training. Have sprite changes, but nothing else except for the map itself. Quite difficult and fun. However, it is quite short. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
arcadia.zip
Arcadia Demade mod by JP LeBreton. All original resources used. A map that definitely holds out on its own. Strong on atmosphere, colorful, map design and texture becomes its own defined working architecture. A bit slow on action, but it does amp up its difficulty to a gratifying level. This is a true masterpiece that should be seen like in those museums. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
mercdemo.zip
DOOM:MERCENARIES DEMO mod by Jacob 'ellmo' Zuchowski. All original resources used. I personally don't like this too much due to some flaws. Overall, good tech base map episode. What I do like about this project is that it actually has a story line (Cold War style) plus some introduction text in what you were supposed to be doing rather than finding buttons and switches. There are actually good maps, but I hate the near the ending part when you happened to realize that the ending is a bad one (you wound up lost in hell for some reason, maybe demonic forces were behind the nuclear threat conspiracy?). All that excellent experience for a tragic letdown. Nevertheless, I would play this mod time after time. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
oprtnslg.zip
Operation Slug mod by Diego Marcal (WartHogBR). All original resources used. Good map with tough monster placements and large area with good eye in design. It's a short one, but damn is this is a good one! If I made a working map for the first time, I would probably make something like this. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
e1m8b.zip
Tech Gone Bad mod by John Romero. All original resources used. Just a map, done by Mr. John Romero himself. It's definitely bigger. I can't say much about the map, but it is definitely John Romero. Preserved for historical interest. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
nov5th.zip
November 5th mod by antares031. All original resources used. Oh my god, good gothic architecture, just fucking good gothic architecture. The fucking theme on this one! It's a real stylized building. This is what my dream map would be like and then some. However, I can say I am trying to make my combos to work to this masterpiece. Good marble map, good marble map. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
SomeCity.wad SomeCity.wad SomeCity.wad
The Streets mod by DukeWooze. All original resources used. You want a Duke Nukem city map? This one is one right here, map music included. Maybe it is not all that spaz in texture and stuff, but it is fucking city with excellent perception in urban mapping detail. And that's coming from a guy who doesn't really like Duke Nukem (its city map was interesting, every other map can't match it in terms of memorable elements for some reason). Can't compare to a full gunfight in all of the town like in doomcity.zip, but it's action enough. Too bad it's a demo, I see the exit as a descent to the sewers. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
newik1.zip
newik1 mod by Memfis. All original resources used. Great gun fights in grand sprawling-like hallways (okay, fat and wide hallways connected to fat and wide rooms). Early is shotgun, later is chaingun, all times is to back away and crouch when necessary. Great firefights, great fast sniping action. Now this is what hallways are about! LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
marfoly.zip
Marine's Folly mod by Mr. Chris & valkiriforce. All original resources used. Holy hell, it's a long and intense series of gun fights, forevers! It's blasting almost anywhere, keeping you tippy toe. Chances are you'll die by the sudden dumbfounded shock of ambush traps spilling out from uncertain sectors. There's one cheap drop trap, but that can be actually mitigated should you actually focus with your senses. It's a total killer map by (mostly action, hardly cheap tricks). Wow, so much description of action without what the map looks like. You can set in a great brown stone maze building, but expect no solace here, only the stoic dedication to fast focused fun. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
baalhdad.zip
Baal Hadad mod by Gran-D-Knight. All original resources used. Short, sweet, fast, and furious. Four small maps, all require quick reflexes, but not without idle. That means an experienced player would know what they are dealing with and what they got in store. All maps are passable as long you got keen and common sense enough to back up, ready to fire, take cover, and watch for opportunities when it knocks, least be your last. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
twpeaks.zip
Twin Peaks mod by Patrick Boyer. All original resources used. One big map that does take a long time; however, it's one of those high quality maps. The setting composed of twin peak mountains and a tech base. You have to secure this research facility. The base has its own twists and turns, so do the mountains. I can guarantee hard action from almost any sector of this map. What are you waiting for? Drop down and get the action. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
oowsfmld.zip
OOWSFMLD mod by Chaingunner. All original resources used, with some custom edits. Big dark-like map being a gothic Castlevania stage. Looks very bad ass, detailed as hell (red and black, and dark). Enemies are the damn topping to the cake. Be sure to check the map to help you find some ambush traps. Don't forget to take a listen before engaging each key/card/door/lift sector. This is true for the fucking fast demons trapping the red skull. Somewhat open-ended sidewinding fights. I know I had to navigate between two insertion points to put down the lava river sector guards. That was hell tough. Ambush traps are quite fair given the amount of cover you can exploit. Get ready for the blue skull ambush trap because you'll be nearly surrounded by monsters; I suggest to use my items combo, but it's your choice. Yes, you can die by foolishness. Tough, but satisfying. Some people may say the map is short in the end, but the experience is win. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
warestat.zip
At Warehouse Station mod by greyscale83. All original resources used. Warehouse station with a monorail railcar. It's all action from here. Each button, each door, each trigger line, opens up a security loaded with guns and firepower! And I have to say maximum sharpened senses are required. You got ears? Use them! Ambushes are set to go out with no mercy. Even better? Expertise in use of weapons, items, and more importantly, reflexes, will determine your competitive advantage. Of course, the map is your best friend, but also your worst enemy. I hope you like love-hate relationships! Up ahead are windowed areas around elevator lifts. Get sniping, but get cover. Eventually, you'll drop into a pit guarded by high ground volleys, not to mention two aerial units raining down on your ass. No backtracking allowed, unless you want to rocket jump out of the pit. Pull out the heavy guns, you'll need it in this open area uphill battle. I should probably remind you that you better get a detection and reflex skill regardless of my warnings. There's the blue skull area, holding the key to your escape, but wait, secrets will be useful to survive the sudden barrage that will extinguish your life into a tomb of merits. It's a tough, but favorable map. I don't think I would have pass without crouching. Salute to all partaking in this campaign. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
tshangar.zip
The Secret Hangar mod by greyscale83. All original resources used. A secret hangar embedded to a canyon. You have to break in and fight your way to escape. Quite the tough map, but it is forgiving in allowing backtrack at all times. Few ambush traps, but all passable given the amount of items at your disposal. Perception and reflexes still required. Careful action at the water pumps, heavy security clearance at the caverns, and of course, sniping and suppression action outside (but also some inside) the airport. I am certain that you will like the caverns and airport. It's hell firepower. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
thundr.zip
Back to Thunder Road mod by ZaBigBoss. All original resources used. A episode of maps whose theme is a vacation gone wreck. Funny story too. First map is fairly snipy at the pier resort with a open area. Take cover. Second map is usually open hallways with aerial units to look out for. Some traps, but nothing worse than the aerial units. Once again, take cover from surprise enemy fire. Third map is two hallways and two slime pit rooms. All areas total on the ground action. The first hallway requires a crouch and popping on the zero. First room is gunning down monsters in elevated heights. Second room is a cliffhanger bridge with ambush traps on all walls. Run like hell when the walls come down! Otherwise, use the teleport pads! Second hallway is all enemies blocking you, take cover. In addition, the exit is guarded by security using the lift so draw them out! Fourth map is a huge elevator surrounded by a canyon, where most of the action takes place. Not too hard, but you will probably be using that elevator for cover. Elevator music, anyone? Fifth map is a slime walled Pac-Man maze. Traps are all about so keep onto your senses. Navigate like Sherlock Holmes. Sixth map is where you can finally relax! Would like, but there's a damn sky problem, which cause glaring issues with me. I seen some new maps with no teleportation for monsters, which I miss, but this new problem is too persistent. Otherwise, acceptable maps! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
cccp20.zip
CCCP 20 mod by m0wgli. All original resources used. A episode of maps whose theme is inside a future Soviet society. Funny gag story. Only one map, but highly detailed mapping design based on original iwads (not simple clunky 90s design!). If there is a sample of good and compatible map, this is it! There are some cheap traps, but nothing that should be in the absolutely obvious like a unclimable pit to searing sectors with chamber doors. Very slight problem, causes glaring issues, but it is a very small part of the entire map. The action does get hard to a pin down or retreat degree. That's when I use my ally items combo when using a monster combo. Fair enough. The theme of a Soviet society is visually bleak. However, the deployment and ambushes are hard balls! Traps are cheap, but fair in warning. I definitely recommend this map for keeps. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
Trump_Doom_for_zdoom.wad NSFW (due to possible exposure of undetermined bias and weird unsuitable [trans]aggressive violent election endorsement parodies [elections are civil in nature])
Trump Doom - Episode 1: Make America Great Again mod by TrumpDoom Team (download publication is now down [due to speech restrictions] and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). This is supposedly the Trump Doom project that the /idgames archive continues to reject. Quite frankly, I don't mind personal stuff. However, this is like self-promotion, particularly for a much needed election campaign. Why, I am not even sure how far this public relations effort went. Me, I myself am not much of a celebritism fanatic. Personalities/works come and go, it's just part of life, or at least part of the machination of the filming industry. That's how it rolls, but sometimes, just sometimes, that fame of the spotlight becomes a testament of its own accord. You would know that history has been made. Speaking of films, this project can pull off some funny gags and gimmicks. It's funny because it relates back to the realities/personalities of the 2016 presidential election. Some of the things that fling back and forth are so ridiculous that you can sit back and imagine it's showtime tv. It's like nothing else happened. If it was serious, I would find something constructive from the election. It was not worth the wait; I would rather be a beatnik, drifting, and worry more about what's more important in life (yeah, thinking outside the box too). If I have anything to connect with this project, I say it's like some kind of scandal soap opera or drama. Lots of finger pointing, me-me-mes, frittery team personnel failures, excess of public relations disaster, and it all adds up to being a star in a cat and mouse game. "To hell to everything else!", that's what the speakers say. That being said, I am glad that this type of simulation parodies the cirus merry-go-around ring of mc battle of djs (Haikais and flytings included). Sorry fellas, it's not quite the "good verus evil"; it's more like "us versus them", but still on the same side? Multiple maps into a total conversion. There are some map features worth noting. map02 has a multiple floor in use. map03 has jail escape scenarios. City maps are tolerable for gameplay. Doors can swing horzontially. Tons of glass to be broken. Interesting use of alarm sirens. The ending cutscenes might stand out, that's a good dramatic display of film. The movie stuff is beautiful. Sadly, this "alternative right" couldn't compare to the "far right" Stormer Doom project. Tons of errors. First off, I can't beat the map16 due to being unable to progress! And much less to finish the game. Map16 would be the boss map. Map07 have a forced drowning sector, and it's not going well and not pretty. There are some scripted lines that cause fatal errors! Excuse me if I made this version ZDoom compatible. The glass windows can render the monsters blind, giving you a chance to deploy heavy ordinance. I would rather have the monsters start blasting at the glass to gun me down. Doors that swing can counter gameplay experience for a ambush of buckshot. Plus, the swing can be quite damaging. However, those doors can sometimes allow you to fire through and vice versa for bullet toting enemies. Some textures are misaligned. It's hard to find anything memorable, maybe because there's no sector label, nor sector description, nor even defined map names for the base maps! Sometimes, you just have to walk in to some stall and figure out from there. At least Stormer Doom made some effort. I guess I could let that pass due to the nature of clutter parody. Weird sense of context, especially if it's dooming for an election (gargh! the election! grrr!); mellow gameplay, which how elections usually take place. I technically don't like this type of gaming style. For example, being aggressive at brands is not a great setting for this game (unless the events around the brands are more suited towards the gaming premise [otherwise, it's full of it!]). I do not expect to play this for keeps, but since it is one of a kind, this goes to the archives. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
BDBU.zip BDBU.zip BDBU.zip
Butts Down and Bottoms Up mod by Crudux Cruo. All original resources used, with some custom edits. I am pretty sure that some of the works were by other authors. Should have credits though. Interesting weapon/item combo that helps boost a (using) player's health and armor rating. Cigarettes boost health (up to 120, 20 per stick, 3 smokes allowed, stick used when lit) and booze boost armor (up to 120, 10 per swig, unlimited swig allowed, swig used when drunk [might reduce health if consumed irresponsibly]). Has interesting animation and sounds to its usage. Better than mines in terms of realistic emulation. Provides a classic feeling and atmosphere to be calm or even cool drug powers. Sorry, no cigars nor pipes. Not even champagne. Least it stay classy? Problems that may arise with mod combos would be the interference of HealthBonus, ArmorBonus, and player class. The use of cigarettes/booze solely relies on its weapon class given to what is considered as the default doomplayer class. It seems that any interference with the default doomplayer or even adding a new one, will force the weapons to not be given. I expect that the weapons be given from the ACS enter type scripts, since I can see they are used. But no, there is no compatibility for player class combos. This project is not combo compatibility perfect. The items are the ammo for the start item given weapons (the pack of cigs and booze). Anyways, this is more of a novelty weapon/item combo. I myself wouldn't use it unless I want a certain delay in healing wounds or patching armor. A sense of realism? Maybe. A sense of atmosphere? Absolutely. Monsters/weapons combo friendly. Not too items combo friendly (in terms of HealthBonus or ArmorBonus). Not player combo friendly either.

MOM SIMULATOR 2016 mod by Csonicgo. All original resources used. This is one unique piece of work from all the other mods I have seen. There wasn't a combo that emulates external environment audio like it was outside of the current gaming environment. The sensory focus usually sticks to first person view perspective. In random timed intervals, something vocal speaks out and breaks the seriousness of the gaming moment. That break intends to give the trip up. Rather than getting annoyed, I admit that it is funny. Breaks stir memorable moments like that in my youth. However, I only have a few video gaming conflicts due to access to a still radical, but stale video game console and its titles. Nevertheless, the reflection brought me joy even though I was/am suffering from its pain. It's just a few words, but damn, this mod brought a much livelier, fuller gaming experience. For any die-hard, yeah, this is just a annoying joke mod that detracts from the true gaming experience. However, I think that such audio cracks are quite immersive and I might even say more human. Human? It's hard to define the matter of interaction and senses for this type of engagement. I'm just gonna say that this is fun to me. Of course, I got a brain that thinks enough to welcome more variety and experimentation. Yes, I didn't really like the mom context. I was more going for maybe a radio personality. Like you were just playing, and then a radio jockey speaks out a line or something like that. Comedians, over the radio chatter (either in-game or out-game context), and perhaps out of the touch audio recordings are also preferences. Wish that I got a substantial idea in mind, but I have nothing as a recording/audio project. Otherwise, this was quite the unique joke mod, one that could be applied with complete combo compatibility. Joke mods usually stick to a map and are quite stale compared to combo compatible mods. This is pretty good, but I can't say I count this project as a gaming favorite. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly. Combos at risk of lump name collision conflict, disrupting intended gameplay design.
thewreck.zip ? (temporary, once I make map, its reference in the credits)
The Wreck mod by Thomas Nijman. Modern themed maps based on Tomb Raider title references. A episode of maps in Tomb Raider gaming style. I personally love the maps of Tomb Raider titles, even the first one! However, I am mostly a hater of puzzles, especially if it's like those damn pitfalls just like Super Mario Bros. There's no pit falls here, but it's those 'puzzle need to be solved' things that irk me. Sometimes, puzzles are okay in action games, but that's about it. The only reason I post this mod up is because it is actually the first example that utilizes the intermission text starting a game session. Exit_Normal(0); was used in the map script (should have been map31 or map32 to cover all map dialogue lumps [from my monster combos]). This is something I would want to do later on with my mapping experiments. It isn't perfect, but it's a start. Until then, this mod is posted on this page. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
spoiled.zip
Spoiled Waters mod by Stocki. All original resources used. Nukage incident at a facility near what was once a lake site. The text didn't include much of a story description, but the map design itself is its own storyteller. I'm gonna tell you something. This, is, quality, mapping. It's no early 90s iwad mapping, it's quite the detailed terraforming mapping. So detailed in quality that it does not deserve an omission of what you are missing. You start off in a underground cave at a right door with three openings of open fucking fire. Prepare your ass for sharpshooting with a bit of cover. After the fucking fray, you can enter the openings into a hallway. Apparently, there was a bit of nukage hazard at the busted nukage pipe and unhealthy green nuke waterfalls. An earthquake busted this cave bad. Detail of earth sectors show this damage (or at least look really naturally good). You can take your time transvering the site, conveying the damage. Obviously, the shake up deals with some unholy going on. Also a good time to recuperate and get some goodies. The hallway exits to a metal hallway. There's a room with a metal pipe in the center, when you enter this, the pipe lowers revealing a blue keycard. Obviously, you know by now, there's an attention to mapping for this already action seasoned map. Turns out to be a trap, now revealing a revenant to beat down your ass! Ah, smart gimmicks. The other room have a yellow door with windows full of enemy potshots. Windows show an outside area with limited view. Outside shows that you are currently locked in a storage facility. You need to get out. The door near the dirty brown pool will have the yellow keycard. Opening the door reveals security personnel resisting your intrusion to step down the stairs. Getting to the bottom leads you to a nukage pump room. Well, there was obviously a purpose of processing radioactive waste liquids. Of course, you will meet more friendly security at your current level, upper level, and coming down the stairs to kill you. This is another great fight moments. See for yourself. Cleaning out the parameter will allow you access to the rectangle area. Immediately, you see that the blue gate is on the far side of the upper level. You can use the stairs to reach it with your blue keycard in hand. Unfortunately, you will come across a wide gap. Go ahead and explore the area. You can find that there is excellent detail and placment to sectors and textures. Each map unit shown suits a purpose. The blue gate opens to a room of computer panels. There is a vertical blast showing a way off squarish hell beam. Well, at least it's unnatural. The love the shape of the cracks though! At the far end of the room is the yellow keycard, plus some heavy duty goodies lying around. You know what that means. Trap time! That being an ambush. I'll leave you to deal with situation. After you are done with the mess, there's an optional opening below the blue gate. It leads to a cavern full of heavy arms and patrol. Watch out if you're going to jump down. The area have a beautiful green waterfall. Yes, the way out goes back to the area of green waters, that being the left door at the start. The elevator to the left door is really antique and cool miner like. The loop is like a cool tour story showing you the purpose of each sector. You know by now that something shook up the processing plant and waste is spilling out like hell. Moving onwards, take the yellow keycard and make it outside of the plant. Prepare to meet oncoming fire in open areas. Oh yeah, there are tower guards too. Lucky for you, the crates should provide enough cover save for someone walking into you. If you managed to past the cover fight, you can access the giant wide facility beyond the plant. There are bars at the center of the wide facility. Turns out there's a dam of nukage between the wall and your cliff. There's a struck bridge you can use. The gates left of the bars leads to a room with a much needed goodie. You know what that means. If you don't get my drift, there is a large hot crack of hellish dimension, hint hint. To get the bars to raise, you need to access the area to its right. You can use the window switch for a snipe fight at the nuke lake. This might be useful to you to reduce the chance of heavy casualty. There are two rooms, one with a red keycard, the other with a red switch. I don't have to elaborate. Crossing the bars will reward you a bit of action over a green lake with its bloody fucking islands. Take cover when necessary. Take caution in placing your footsteps over islands. The open area is definitely a vault for like things slime, but a bit of macabre work here and there. You'll come across a green stone building, it looks quite damn good for a ancient forbidden piece of shit. Perform the ritual of switch and a brown wall behind you will sink. You'll reach some unholy place with yes, slime everywhere. Weird square pillars of evil trying to act like Stonehenge. Maybe this is the source of the earthquake causing nukage spillage, and monsters to appear. Well, ready for a boss fight cuz you'll be tap dancing, bullfighting, and bull running between boss, slime, and cover. The map exit is a giant skull with human corpse walls and some circuitry. How that would stop the demonaic invasion is anyone's guess. Perhaps it is only the beginning of the breach. Maybe it will take you to the source of the invasion. A moment of reflection chimes in to what happened to the site might entail the very consequences in tampering with powers beyond one's reach. Regardless, the map is good fun being a battlefield soldier facing the onslaught of ambush and danger. You're done with fun. Exit with a sense of content. Good day and good night. Sorry about the slob of text, but the areas aren't really compartmentalized and it's quite a squished transition of a travel to explain in general. The path is fairly linear, but also fairly diverse in environment so you got a good deal concerning map themes. Difficulty can fluctuates, but the delivery flows soundly. No puzzles unless combat preparation isn't your sharp side. I found some flat mishaps, but it's usually out of normal playing view. So far, so good. It's one bitch, and one that bites so you'll like. I know I like! LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
ColumbineDOOM2.pk3
Columbine DOOM2 mod by 1997 The Moose (PA High [Different high school and definitely different year! Probably just a nick mentioned other than production date]). Historical (based on a Columbine High School massacre incident) themed maps based on Doom Center mod, SCHOOL DOOM II mod, Brutal Doom mod (okay, maybe), Blood title, Duke Nukem 3D title, William Shatner's TekWar title, Wolfenstein title, Strife title, Shadow Warrior title, Marathon title, and real life photo snap crops references. Before I go on, I have to tell you that I cannot retrieve this file on normal public servers. I have to proxy to get the fucking file (I won't mention the information for the sake of safety!). Lots of determined bitches trying to stop access to this damn thing. Hey, it's not like I'm trying all out glory, conquer or die (trying). So yeah, map, actors, images, audio, and scripts all constructed to make how the Columbine High School massacre plays out. Basically, you go on a shooting spree in a high school, only to have limited amount of ammunition, just like the incident! You got player classes, gear, map scenario, and finally, death by cop (although Eric David Harris and Dylan Bennet Klebold died by suicide). I have to say that the project does not glorify school shooting. If it did, I would at least see the school people to fight on judgment day. None did fight, all just run away like crazy. No sounds of panic either (guess they weren't too scared, so much for a dilemma). I probably would expect several maps with opposition for the necessary justification. I myself am witness of the prison grind (maybe even design!) of the (possibly military-funded) mandatory education system. And then there's street life. However, the entire incident was not like that. It's just a bunch of dudes that decided to go out with a bang. They got friends, they got peers. They like a gang in a rumble, like that West Side Story movie, but no musicals of course! Worked at school, they even got jobs too! Fuck, that's pretty amazing. Okay, so maybe that's a way to cut off social life. However, it's not like you cannot get a headstart on either extracurricular activity (whatever that do), much less of a job. I would have seethe at some of the possible combination of benefits, not that I can offset the educational burden of learning. Hmmm, maybe the motive behind it all is stress, too much to handle, too much to lose. Talk about perfect! It's like those Japanese salesman suicide honor thing, but they work for almost 16 hours a day! Alright, they committed some crimes before so they aren't exactly perfect. Wrapping this up, I thought that the Columbine incident started after Doom got released. You keep hearing those media outlets talk about how these dudes got interested in Doom and things like that. Happened in 1999, and that's quite late, fuck! Bad things go down in the 90s. Map design quite realistic for a school setting, there are destructible map lines and props. Map errors exist with missing texture values and impassable lines. There is no real gameplay here. You just shoot some people and get killed by cops (numbers are infinite, you will die). The main meat is just exploring the school and reflecting how the incident plays out. There is no glory here, in fact, its bland design makes shooting up school not rewarding. That means not fun, it's almost strictly educational (note that I did not say edutainmental!). Kept this file here for the sake of historical novelty (as well as notoriety [no popular site want this file on their domain! That's how supposedly dreadfully tarnishing/slandering this is! Boy do they fear the persecution! Like inquisition!]). It's not a well mentioned, nor accessible mod (it sucks). If you want fun, try schoold2.zip, SCHOOL DOOM II, for parody (and in before the incident, year 1996). If you want a more livable map with school theme, trinity2.zip, The Unholy Trinity, hands down to the king! Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly; not worth changing the right modifications either.
stranger.zip
Huntington National Laboratory mod by Jefferson Draney. All original resources used. Teleportation portal experiment gone awry, unholy presence premating the very souls residing within the parameters of the research facility. You are a night watchman and got to get the perimeters secure. Go get 'em. Description context is just a setting for the security action thriller waiting for you. No amateur 90s iwad mapping here, expert here; mapping detail realistic, yet simple and delicious enough. Walkthrough for difficulty sakes! You basically are breaching the once authorized laboratory. Immediately, you are met with medium security forces from hell. Several cacodemons are waiting for you. In order to get inside the lab entrance, you have to tranverse to the northern warehouse (via the parking lot area) for the proper key. You might want to reach the southern warehouse (go around the lab, careful) should I forget that the yellow key is actually there. Once you get in the lab, you will be ambushed in the hallways so strap up your combat mode. A baron of hell and some hell knights will be there closing onto you. Go ahead and clear the lab, bed, and wash rooms of any monsters. You are greeted with some excellent eye visuals so take it like a museum visit. A broken lift gate is locked so the other way forward is to find a stairways down. If you still intend to open the lift gate, the switch is in the room next to it. However, it's one way only and the stairways area might be key to access the lift gate switch. In the basement via stairways area, you'll meet heavy resistance . Security will be guarding a switch that opens to the basement via lift area. You gonna have to watch your ass cuz every monster might use hallways to ambush you to any direction. Labs, residence, and storage rooms are about in this sparse prison. Oh yeah, there's a pain elemental around in this cramped area so it's best to check your map for an area to fall back on. YOUR MAP (AND BACKTRACKING MEMORY OF ITEMS) IS VITAL TO YOUR VICTORY)! Once you flip the switch, go back upstairs, properly fight off reinforcements, prepare, and drop down the broken lift. The next area will have you stuck like a sitting duck in the lift and hallways. You'll face off arachnotrons and fatsos, get weaving. Be lucky that you got much wider hallways to walk into. You'll see some ambushes as you clear the area, but don't touch the pit or working lift! Before you go on, there's a red keycard on a water tube in the pit area. That tube line on the map smells like bad. First, clear as much monsters in the pit without dropping to your death. Then, you can use the working lift and access the goodies, setup allies, and check for potential cover. Go back up and setup your strategy cuz it's fucking hard balls after you touch that tube line! Hopefully you didn't drop down; otherwise, you gonna have to hide and gun hard the teleporting monsters. Also, try not to run off the ledge or you'll be stupid enough to fall into a snake pit for possibly the second time! If not, you can pick off the monsters without distress in balancing your inventory. That means you can fall back from a hard shot fight and collect dropped items waiting for you. After the gunning down (note that it's not a showdown nor duel in this situation) is over, you can freely pick up the red keycard. There's a room with red doors and it got a hidden switch that I didn't see the first time. Hey, peeking is not a priority when you got a fight that you need to put down dead for good. And there's another good reason for that ignorance too! If you recall, there's a (optional, but highly personally recommended) BFG9000 and invulnerability sphere in the blue room. Apparently, that blue skull key happens to be in the southern warehouse's locked room. Unobviously, that lowered water tube opens up the pressure gauge locking the blue skull key. Get backtracking for the ultimate goods. Hit the switch to open up to the last resistance of the occupiers. In that lab room, is the very portal experiment. You might want to finish off the guards in there. The very portal opens to a fleshy dimension. Get ready my friend! Enter and you'll see that the feared flesh tunnels leads to a dropdown of a ambush trap waiting for your demise. You can utilize the invulnerability sphere and get down, but I rather withhold and pick off as much baddies as I can from the higher height. Dropping down, get running, get items, and get gunning. In the center of the bloody belly is the eye to the final fight. If you had checked your map, this sector is not scanned like a radar cannot detect abnormalities. Nice touch. Equip like mad. Don the hardest armor, deploy all allies to watch the walls, and ready the health kits. This is when you do use that BFG9000 and invulnerability sphere; something that I forgot to do, resulting in getting myself killed. There's a chance to actually survive, but not likely. When you amped up and ready to go, wake up the eye for the fucking wall ambush traps to open all around you. There's no real hiding when the gunners are around gunning you. Should you survive, hopefully with proper mapping, backtracking, and preparation, you would be successful in securing the laboratory from the clutches of hell. With no way back up, go forward the second flesh tunnel and step into a storage basement. Go stairways and see that time has reached broad daylight. The laboratory seen through the window seems like a good ending. Everything looks bright with the bees buzzing and the birds singing. After the moment, hit the exit button and report radio transmission of your recent endeavors. You did a job well done, officer. Stand by and await for further orders. We need to start cleaning up the mess and begin investigation. Hopefully after all this, you can take a bonus and well earned vacation. While I don't have to make a walkthrough, the matter of design in service for the amounting level of difficulty presses for dispatcher assistance. The sectors themselves aren't complex, but the gameplay ain't a walk in a park. Technically linear from point A to point B, but no given direction in what paths to take. Map theme fairly consistent. I will repeat, the map is hard, but fair. You are given everything to bypass every obstacle. There's each key solution to each key situation at hand, no more, no less. You have to be hands on with discipline on the matter. Despite some discomforts, it's a good map and I'm speaking thru the use of my combos! It's like the ultimate assault. LIKE! Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.
3057hub1_editv00.wad
RTC-3057: Blue mod by Team Future (group). Edited version allows a quick pistol fix despite some errors. Still playble! Science fiction themed maps based on various media references. A total conversion with its own story similar to Doom, Halo, or Event Horizon (film [extreme content, weird ass story, but it's space {endless possibilities!]), except you're a tripping cyborg stranded onto a now derelict spaceship. Cyborg experiment ship gone wary due to some space time continuum abnormality. You are a abandoned cyborg stranded on a spaceship occupied by the forces of Hell. Find out and discover how you got into this mess and find an way out. Description context is just a setting for the patient/escape action horror waiting for you. No amateur 90s iwad mapping here, expert except for some personal nudges in how the team should handle project development; mapping detail realistic, yet simple and smooth. No walkthroughs, this is a science fiction horror movie. Sometimes, you advance slow, sometimes, not. Some cold and hot moments. I won't spoil anything else. Prepare to trip a bit, no jump scares, or at least not one I remember. Somewhat linear from point A to point B, but no given direction in what paths to take. Probably back tracking is included. Map theme fairly consistent. You might not be given everything to bypass every obstacle. Go back and look around if you're stuck. I admit I cringe at horror themes at times, but it's a good map story-wise (than game-wise, sorry about that!). Some programming errors, but nothing that will crash the program. LIKE! Not monsters/items combo friendly. Weapons combo friendly.

Bloody Boots mod by Tim Lowndes. All original resources used. An insertion into a marble structure paved in blood. It's like you somehow found yourself in a horror show, labyrinth, or some foreboding dimension (that's a good line). Excellent one simple superb mapping design; the mapping details is up to dooming standards in visuals and game play effects. It's hard to describe this map, but you drop down to a marble trench with blood filled floor. Everything's classy and rich-like. Two rooms on the side of you sniping your ass. There's a door at the end of the hall, opening it opens a trap with stampeding demons on your back. Demon ambushes in this map is storming close encounters scary. Behind them is a lion button, which will lift the door open and opens up some imps on the ledges for a good shot at you. If you make it on top, you'll have to either deal with poking stick at the blue skull gate or shoot out with the inaccessible brown stairs. You'll have to move to the corridor with the blue skull gate. There's a room with a switch and blood fountain. Beautiful. It's also a chaingunner trap, plus a cacodemon if you open up the green armor secret compartment. Moving right, you find surprisingly sufficient guards behind a tiny jail cell along with access to the ugly dull brown stairs area. Climbing the stairs will lead you to a snipe out with several monsters on higher ground. Reaching the top will lead to a blood tube with its blood tube room. That room is cozy with a demon ambush to maw your ass. BE CAREFUL, YOU CAN DIE HERE! If you survive, you can access the lift to an area with several rooms; some ambushes too. You will eventually find a catatomb with enclosed tombs. Two revenants guard the blue skull key. Swiping key with open up the tombs and let out the addams family in Indiana Jones fashion. Bearing possible wounds, it's time to lift the blue skull gates! Poor dark brown sooty stone textures replace the bright vibrant royal majestic green marble texture. From this point on, it get worse. Demons and snipers are about so be careful. Shooting the skull button from the window will gain you access to a waiting ambush of several flunkies, two revenants, and a last bunch of fucking demons. All of them ready to waste your ammo and your ass. Just another close death encounter. You will eventually find a (wooden) storage area with fucking blood flowing everywhere. Two fatties want a gun showdown with you. There's a secret room if you can access the fatties's jail cell. Red skull gate have a room with button opening up the storage room. Best to kill off the chaingunners from window first though. Monsters are likely there. Once you get the red skull key, two archviles will show up and show who's who. After clearing the entire map, the red skull gate will lead you downstairs to the unknown, but that's concludes our exciting short episode for today. It's not cramped, but still linear from point A to point B. Combat is some grade A stuff in some turning points so go back for dropped items. Map theme fairly consistent. Creepy enough atmosphere delivers despite a short run. LIKE! Monsters/items/weapons combo friendly.

Jerky Boys Doom Sound Wad mod by Ryan Weiss. Joke themed sounds combo based on The Jerky Boys prank call comedy act. DoomHack mod by TheCraftyTitan. Joke themed combo/(maps) based on (Doom 2 maps [if you are using doom2.wad]), anime stuff, and etc. Basically, it's a parody crossover replacement with some Nipponese media stuff. To be honest, I am not sure if the mod is supposed to poke fun at various media outlets or doom itself. All actors in items, weapons, and monsters section, have unique differences to make sure that there exists a different dooming experience. Doom 2 maps have been modified as well in either sectors or map scripts. While it is quirky in its own way, I have to say that the gameplay is quite impossible (due to the matter of remaining bugs). I have to say that this combo sucks in terms of enjoyment, but at least it has a quirky quality. There is plenty of potential assets waiting to be reused in other projects, but I cannot say they will be outside joke context (I am not likely to reuse them). Oh yeah, it is NSFW due to a few touhou ecchi textures (well, maybe not the best [of images] I seen, but whatevers [beware the touhou fans]). Not monsters/weapons/items combo friendly.

mohawk_.wad
Ray Mohawk's Manic Monday (6 vanilla Doom2 maps) mod by Doomkid. A minor conversion, but the author might need to work on wrapping up the episode. Summer themed maps based on environmental protests of the 1960s. You are just some dude that needs to get down to the bottom of the nukage pollution conspiracy. The ending sucked, but it was the end of the world scenario anyways. Linearity not so path paved. Combat can fluctuate, but it's good old fun anyways. Map theme represents the said storyline. Atmosphere is quite lively, most of the time. LIKE! Monsters/items/weapons combo friendly.
joi_lstcv15.zip
Lost civilization mod by Jaakko "Jaska" Impola [JOI in maps]. A megawad conversion, but the author might need to work on closing the damn game once final playable map is completed. Post-apocalyptic themed maps loosely based on organic movement. You just somehow survived zombification of genetically engineered foods, and need to pave the way for haven. The ending rocks, but it was still quite the end of the world scenario anyways. Linearity not so path paved (keys and doors all spread about). Combat can be quite slow most of the time, but it's good old fun anyways. Map theme is fucking gorgeous! Atmosphere is quite extinct, sparse, bare-ridden; fits in what is a lost civilization, it's like a real archaeology excavation. LIKE! Unfortunately, not compatible with other mods. At least it caters to the classic gaming of doom. Not monsters friendly. Items/weapons combo friendly.

mansion2.zip
MANSION2 mod by Jordan Lytle. All original resources used. You find yourself in some courtyard with a large green marble complex within its perimeters. A somewhat bland, yet proficient mapping design. It's something I would do in terms of minimalistic cutting corners, I mean, conceptual definition. Mapping detail is beyond the lazy ass 90s sector mish mashing and misaligned textures to say at the least. The mapping details are flamboyantly abstract brutalist formed, in blandly ancient roman styled. So you just go around, seeing the vast space and somewhat quietly eerie place, like it's a memorial or something like that. If you ever run into monster problems, you do have a lot of space to retreat to. You get to see macabre designs in blood fountains and skull gardens. Pretty neat to look at, considering its limited architecture structure layout. Within the confines of the mansion, are an array of spectacles in sector formation covering x, y, and z axis, and as well as lighting works. The best dynamic dramatic parts are the ball and throne room. Fights can vary due to the various space of sectors the monsters are placed in. You will have big shootouts in either open or enclosed spaces. While there could be inopportune ambushes and traps, it's nothing with the proper preparation and planning (strategy, tactics). Other than that, you can take your time with this time and go on a leisurely virtual stroll. It's like the tourist gardens or museums so just sit back and relax. zzz Navigation is not linear so it's wanderlust friendly. Combat can range from A to F, you get your preferences. Map theme fairly consistent, if not transiently fair. Atmosphere is fairly gothic, but more like a quiet burial ritual. LIKE! Monsters/items/weapons combo friendly.

Prepare to roll, take cover, and fall back in this volley fire showdown! It's stealth operations to pick off or to be killed in these gun blazin' ranges of the wild west! While not as intense in gun fighting as in fistful3.zip, thematic atmosphere just oozes! You get a town, a mission, a canyon, some extinct riverbed, and of course, the gang hideout. Call it a remake of a blast from the past! Monsters combo is always a welcome, if not hard shit bricks challenge. LIKE! Weapons/items combo friendly.

Cargo Area mod by Jarek "Elendir" Karpiel. All original resources used. It's basically like Diego Marcal (WartHogBR)'s Operation Slug mod, but set in a cargo area, where crates holding goods are to be assessed and shipped out to the next location. It's kind of like delivery service, wait, it is. Good map with tough monster placements and smallish to open area with cluttered crates and good eye in design. Because navigation and gameplay can be quite the bitch, I figure that this E1M1 times 10 map, will need some walkthrough! REMEMBER THIS CANON MAP WAD IS DESIGNED TO BE HARD!!! So like E1M1, you closed the door behind you and the crate cargo area is before you. Security personnel will take notice of intrusion and will begin security protocols. You're literally (or virtually) going out like a shootout in a spy/007 style. Call it cops, swat, commando stand off, or Metal Gear, but you'll be gritting your jaws during the breach confrontation. Cover behind crates required! Oh, and there's quite the few close calls drop ins so mapping your routes is best! If you're worried about being cramped in, don't. You'll eventually reach the shipping area, which seems to ship off by airlift or a experimental teleport pad. Perhaps, that's how the hell infestation took place. Anywhom, you will be treated with quite the blast amid the high shooter difficulty. It's like real time tactical shit, you know? Given its size, it's quite the smallish map, lasting about thirty minutes (myst exploration might be included), but damn is this is a good one! If I made a working sequential map for the first time, I would probably make something like this later on. Monsters/weapons/items combo friendly. Iwad with E1M1 map lump name required.
fucktrump.zip NSFW (due to possible exposure of undetermined bias and weird unsuitable [trans]aggressive violent election endorsement parodies [elections are civil in nature])
Fuck Trump mod by James Haley (download publication is now down [due to speech restrictions] and download needs direct access [no more authorizations, blah blah blah]). This is supposedly the Fuck Trump project that the /idgames archive readily accepts (over the Trump Doom project). Quite frankly, I don't mind personal stuff. However, this is like a diss/joke campaign, particularly for a much needed election campaign. Just a single map (map01). Sadly, this "alternative left/right" couldn't compare to the "far right" Stormer Doom project. Tons of errors. At least the textures are properly aligned. It's hard to find anything memorable, maybe because there's no sector label, nor sector description, nor even defined map names for the base map!

Message board of hosting site for Forkheads media @ forkheads.net Http Server Domain (reason why I put this up is because guest users can post a thread or message without the need for registration [only in guest section {you can't backtrack your anonymous posts, you would have to bookmark by other online means than account}]). While the board is famous/infamous for its parody sim date flash games, it allows free speech. Enough of a reason to stick around.
ZDoom (zdoom questions) irc
#zdoom Irc Channel @ irc.esper.net Irc Server Domain (if you got other servers to simultaneously connect to, use "/server irc_url:+6697")
I was banned from the channel? Either the channel (maybe even other channels I connected to [maybe visiting around new/intolerant {how to tell, I have no idea} channels wasn't a good idea]) or server is usually serious, but quite patient. Well, things change. Hope for the best.
I somehow provoked the ire of the community by my contributions so you won't find me there anymore (there was one very setup bastard who vents @ me like a snake, but probably that has nothing to do with the sudden explosion, hehehe [well, I guess I can't ask for some instanteous help anymore]).

zdrant (zdoom ranting) irc
#zdrant Irc Channel @ irc.esper.net Irc Server Domain (if you got other servers to simultaneously connect to, use "/server irc_url:+6697")
Don't go here either, it's still #zdoom, but less obvious. People got banned there too. If I would come back, it would be a need to ask for modding help, that's all. Once I'm done, I get the fuck outta there!

ZDoom ([not so serious] zdoom questions) irc
#zdoom Irc Channel @ irc.oftc.net Irc Server Domain (if you got other servers to simultaneously connect to, use "/server irc_url:+6697")
Also, I wouldn't go to Doomworld irc (irc.oftc.net, #zdoom) too often due to the immense lack of ZDoom modding interest, extreme idling, and my IP address has been banned due to a number of reasons (mass ban list, but usually spambot). This goes on and off (trollastic behavior? This, I know). I swear, they hating for no reason. The shit is so fucked up, that it is even worse than ZDoom irc.

metalscene (zdoom questions) irc

I guess there is now an active search for me to ban me from the #zdoom channel. Pounding down on me for no reason! What a bitch! I guess I screwed around (or burned up) this community for too long. I bet that it was a bunch of scums (not the current community authorities) behind it. Well, the authorities were cool. Guess I will move on. No webirc tracing copper here. Will still stick to this server due to less pressure of lag and irc email-memo simplicity. The makeshift channel is there in case a bunch of people want to communicate about something in real-time-like (yes, NSFW and other obscene things are allowed here then). Otherwise email/memo blast the communication.

Be glad that you guys get to see the affiliates below. You don't get stuff like this everyday. You know what that means. I'll be honest, I'm not the benevolent/generous kind of guy, I'm gonna hurt ya. I know there's people out there who don't want to see this happening, especially those out in the world. They don't give a fuck about you or your welfare. They'll deprive you at your expense, hell they may not want to live, thrive, or exploit at all! One day, something happens, and we be broken and still hurting because of the loss. Actually, I would like to keep all this stuff to myself, but I know that these people have a cause higher than my owns, and it's the least I can do to assist in continued operation. However, I fear that evil outside interests want to trash down on the organizations. That's why I put up the disclaimer. That's all I gotta say, just don't go blabbing around or else something gets shutdown. Just keep it to yourselves and everything should be a-okay.

Don't use the Tor browser, it's just a experimental build with nooks and crannies to attempt prevention of easy browser fingerprinting. Peruses virtual private network cycles, javascript access control, and plugin switches. It should not dictate its brand as a law when it violates compatibility. Almost every other browser has its own standard, but as same, they should not dictate theirs as law.
